¡Hi!
my name is Maryla

In 2018, I embarked on a project dear to my heart: sharing the rich history of the Sephardic Jews with visitors eager to explore their heritage, culture, traditions, and the lasting impact of Sephardic Jews in Andalusia.

This passion grew from my academic pursuits. In 2011, I began my studies in Modern Languages and Semitic Studies at the University of Granada, igniting a profound interest in Sephardic culture and the legacy of Al-Andalus.

After completing my studies in 2015, I spent several years working in tourism. It was during this time that I observed a noticeable neglect of Sephardic history. Motivated by a desire to fill this void, I envisioned a project where I could merge my knowledge with the joy of travel, offering educational experiences to curious travelers. Thus, in 2018, Tour Sefarad was born—a venture dedicated to showcasing Sephardic culture and history in Andalusia.

Despite a promising start, our journey was abruptly halted by the pandemic. We faced adversity and uncertainty in the following years, but emerged stronger and more determined than ever. Now, with renewed vigor, we are committed to continuing our mission of preserving and celebrating the rich legacy left by the Sephardic Jews, offering unique experiences that bring their story to life.
